Jimmy Martin

Charles "Jimmy" Martin, age 63, of Dawsonville, formerly of Coal Mountain, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015. A native of Forsyth County, Jimmy was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. He was the owner of Coal Mountain Road Service; making an impression everywhere he went. Jimmy is preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanne Martin; parents, Edwin and Joelene Martin; a sister, Dale Lynn Martin and a brother, Tommy Martin. Survivors include his sons, Jody and Kelly Martin of Dawsonville, Jamie and Candis Martin of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Alexis Reeves, Mackenzie Martin, Holden Martin, Grayson Martin; brothers, Johnny "Gus" Martin, Jerry and Lisa Martin, all of Cumming; best friend, Janine Jenkins of Cumming and his dog and constant companion, Bubba. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 26th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Woody, Rev. Ruel Martin and Rev. Danny Bennett. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
