Joan B. Cochran

Joan B. Cochran, 75, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018. A native of Fulton County, Joan was a travel agent for over 30 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and role model. Joan was a very active member at Hopewell Baptist Church in Milton, GA, where she was secretary and treasurer for the Helping Hands womens group.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Leon Cochran of Alpharetta; daughter and son-in-law, Bekki (Jody) Davis of Cumming; grandsons, Hunter Davis of Alpharetta and Logan Davis of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry (Rebecca) Byrd of Cumming, GA, and Terry (Brenda) Byrd of Roanoke, AL; sister, Cathy Morgan of Anchorage, AK; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Joan will be held Saturday, July 28, at 3:00 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Milton, GA, with Rev. Bud Sutton and Rev. Alan Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
