John Michael Heidenga

John Michael Heidenga, 59, of Cumming, GA passed away June 28, 2022. John was born in Grand Rapids, MI and graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s in business administration, Supply Chain Management. Mr. Heidenga retired from Kimberly-Clark with 32years of dedicated service. John was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church in Cumming, GA. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with his family including his 2 dogs, Clara and Gabby. He is preceded in death by his father Raymond G. Heidenga.

John is survived by his mother Judy Caine; sisters and brothers in-law, Mary and Joseph Schafer, Elizabeth and Robert Stickroe, Jane and Thomas Garland; brothers and sister in-law, Daniel and Melissa Heidenga, Joseph Heidenga; 19 nieces, nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews

A memorial mass will be held 11 AM Friday, July 22, 2022, at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 4633 Shiloh Rd, Cumming, Ga, with Father Matthew VanSmoorenburg, L.C. officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior at the church. The funeral mass will be live streamed starting at 10:50 AM.  Please use the password Heidenga. A second memorial mass will be held in John’s hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 2510 Richmond St. N.W. at 11 AM, Friday, August 12, 2022, with Father Mark Przybysz officiating. Inurnment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI. Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming is overseeing the arrangements for Cumming
