John Vargas

John was born and raised in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Growing up he played soccer and was an altar boy at his church. He enjoyed spending time with his brother and sister and many cousins. At age 15 he came to the states to live with his father and stepmother and baby brother, in Medford New Jersey where he attended school. While in school in had a large paper route. John was active in school, he was stage manager, band manger and was the school mascot and part of many other clubs.

Upon graduating he went to work and later onto college. John was a hard worker and at times held down two jobs. There were times he worked overseas just to keep things going, including Viet Nam. John was the kind of person who would always help someone out in any way he could.

John enjoyed his trains, bike riding every day if he could and weather permitting.  Taking care of fruit trees, feeding, and watching the birds including our parakeet.
