Johnnie Simpson

Mr. Johnnie Simpson, age 81 of Cumming, GA, formerly of Gilbert, WV, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009. He was a deacon of Daves Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Simpson. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ruth Simpson of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Donald Ferguson of Ellijay; sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sharon Simpson of Dahlonega and Johnnie Simpson, Jr. of Cumming; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 18, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 17th from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
