Jon Oliver Stanley, 86, of Alpharetta passed away Friday, February 6, 2026.

A native of Atlanta, Jon was a loving husband and a hard worker. Following retirement, he spent the last years of his life as a caregiver to his wife, Virginia Mae Disharoon Stanley. Jon was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Jon is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thurday, February 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell with Rev. Lee Gaddis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
