Joseph Sloan Osment, Jr.

Joseph Sloan Osment, Jr., age 87, of Cumming, GA, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020. He was born in 1932, to the late Joseph, Sr. and Myrtie Lou Osment. Joseph was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of The Church of The Good Shephard Catholic Church in Cumming, GA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Leora Osment.

He is survived by his children, Christopher (Barb) Osment, Michael (Theresa) Osment, Julie (Tom) Weaver, Patrick Osment, and Celia (James) MacDowell; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Osment will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
