Joseph Stephen "Joey" III

Joseph "Joey" Stephen Storey III, of Alpharetta, GA, age 9, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Joey played baseball through the Forsyth County Miracle League and also participated in the Special Olympics. Every year Joey, along with his family, would attend the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta Buddy Walk to support the Down Syndrome community. Survivors include father and mother, Joseph and Kimberly Storey; brothers, Chris Hancock, Russell Hancock and Justin Hancock; grandparents, Barbara and Jim Dalton of Cumming, Joseph and Nancy Storey of Gulf Breeze, FL; aunt and uncle, Kenneth and JoAnn Van Alstyne of Cumming and James and Irene Storey of Kent, WA. along with numerous other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28th at 4:00 p.m. St. Aidan's Episcopal Church with The Reverend Robert Wood officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Wednesday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joey's name to the DSAA or the Forsyth County Miracle League.
