Joyce Burks McClendon, age 72 of Forsyth County (Alpharetta), passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davis McClendon; parents, Thomas Williams and Pearl Ella Burks. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Tim) Staggs, Jeff (Linda) McClendon, Jeanettie (Tim) Whitfield, Charles, Jr. (Carie) McClendon; brothers, William (Barbara) Burks, Lasster (Linda) Burks, Randy (Pam) Burks, Timothy Burks; sisters, Nettie (Ronnie) Tucker, Joan (Mike) Morgan, Sue Gray, Kathy Bryson; grandchildren, Kelly Moore, Brandon Whitfield, J. J. Whitfield, Cassandra Broyles, Charles Davis McClendon, III, Courtney McClendon; great grandchildren, Kayla Turner, Faith Whitfield, Audrey Whitfield, Isaiah Kent; great great granddaughter, Marilyn McDuffie. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 26th at 5:30 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Mooney officiating.
