Kami Laine Richardson

Kami Laine Richardson, age 49, of Dawsonville, GA, formerly of Augusta, GA,  passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Augusta, GA. She was active in the women’s group at church and loved spending time with her grandkids. Kami was a teacher at Covenant for several years in Cumming and taught the last three years at Heritage Academy in Augusta, GA. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Bentley Sorrells; and siblings, Brett Sorrells, and Traci Sanchez.

She is survived by her children, Alaini (Josef) Venable, and Kamerin (Luke) Littlefield; father and stepmother, Will and Joyce Sorrells; grandchildren, Maybree and Wesley Venable; and siblings, Terri Davison, and Lori Green; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 12:00 noon at The Chapel on McEver in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at The Chapel on McEver on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
