Karen Bramblett Hood

Karen Bramblett Hood (Mawmaw), 56, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. She was a proud business owner of Hood Landscape and Erosion and loved animals and traveling. Karen served as the Treasurer for the G.H.J.A. non-profit. She was a member of Ophir Baptist Church; she loved her church and church family.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Stanley Hood; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Clint Cowart; grandchildren, Baylee, Miley and Clayton Cowart; mother, Dolores (Dee) Bramblett; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Bobby) and Diane Bramblett; mother-in-law, JoAnne Hood; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Dana Miles; a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

The family will celebrate Karen's life at a later date.
