Kathleen Jones

Kathleen Jones born to James and Georgia Walls September 16, 1951, passed away June 28, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Georgia Walls, husband, Boyd Jones and grandson, Jessie Jones. The family moved to Georgia in 1963 from the Memphis, TN area. Kathleen made lifelong friends at Chestatee School and Forsyth County High School. Kathleen was a homemaker and worked for many years at Holiday Hall & Inn in Gainesville, GA. After they closed, she spent her spare time cashiering at Publix on Hwy 306. She was an avid reader, cook and seamstress like her mother, made many quilts for friends and loved ones. She did this with love and kindness. She will be dearly missed by family, friends and all that knew her.

She left behind sister, Jayme Walls, sons, Bryan Jones, Colley Jones and wife Kim, grandchildren, Skylar, Blu, Chelsea, Chenoa, Paliegh, Ashtyn, Kaimen, special friend, Linda Robertson and Tank the cat. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Ingram Funeral Home.
