Kathleen "Kathy" Rudi McCarty, 77, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Dr. Herbert Rudi and Kathleen Rudi Roberts, Kathy spent the majority of her life in her hometown. She developed a successful career in real estate, making her mark as a respected member of the St. Louis Board of Realtors.

Kathy's zest for life was evident in her passion for travel. With a spirit that couldn't be confined to one place, she explored the world, cherishing her adventures to countless destinations. Yet, it was the serene beauty of St. Martin that captured her heart, becoming her most cherished retreat and many fond memories. Beyond her travels, Kathy was a decorated bridge player, achieving her Life Masters, and had a green thumb that made her flower garden a source of joy and beauty for all.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her children, Karen Kelly of St. Louis, Tracy Gilbert (Gene) of Cumming, and Christopher McCarty (Alison) of Denver. Kathy's joy was multiplied by her three grandchildren, Morgan Miller (Ross), Brooke, and Ryan Gudgeon, who will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Kathy's honor at a date to be announced.
