Kathryn "Rene" Frix

Kathryn Rene Frix, 92, of Cumming passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. Kathryn was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Waldo Frix; a son, James Cowboy Frix; a grandson, Daryl Frix; granddaughter, Sherry Higgins; along with several brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mack and Janice Frix of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Larry Higgins of Cumming; daughter-in-law, Karen Frix; grandchildren, Gypsy Frix and Ashley Olson, Angie and Brian Thomas, Steve and Carolee Frix, Shawn Frix; great grandchildren, Loren and Nic Collins, Andrew Thomas, Julianna Frix, and Angelina Frix; brother and sister-in-law, Hoyt and Floy Henderson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 31, at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Sanford and Rev. Lee Mischiara officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
