Katie Bell Hughes

Katie Bell Hughes, age 86 of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2009.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty J. Farmer of Dahlonega, Ga.; sons, Luther Coheley of Dahlonega, Ga. and Kenneth Coheley of Cumming, Ga.; brother, Leroy Piper; sisters, Glenda Hefner, Elsie Mathis, Willie Tinsley, Frances King, Lois, Flora Lee, Virginia and Lorene. Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survived.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Byars Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 6th from 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Thursday, January 7th from 2:00 pm 9 pm.
