Kayla Diane Pirkle, age 13, of Gainesville passed away on March 22, 2014. Kayla was a 7th grade student at Little Mill Middle School. She just became a member of the Junior Beta Club, loved softball and enjoyed being in the kitchen baking with her family. Kayla loved to draw with her older sister, Kori. She is survived by her parents, Bobby and Betsy Pirkle of Gainesville; maternal grandparents, Hubert and Becky Scroggins of Alpharetta; brother, Michael Thomas Pirkle; sister, Kori Pirkle of Gainesville; aunts and uncles, Scott and Melissa Goldsberry and Matthew and Jessica Salloum of Cumming; cousins, Christi and Ashley Goldsberry, Kira and Kady Salloum all of Cumming and Kaya Hernandez of Alpharetta. Funeral Service for Kayla will be Friday, March 28, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Parker and Rev. Ray Gober officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Kayla's life immediately following the interment at Mt. Calvary Church. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
