With profound sadness and deep love, the family of Kristina Vancea, 35, of Cumming, Georgia, announces her unexpected passing on March 28, 2026.
Born on July 11, 1990, in Atlanta, Georgia, Kristina was the beloved daughter of John and Katrina Gallow. She will be forever remembered for her compassionate spirit, her vibrant joy in life, and the deep, abiding love she held for her children. Kristina found her greatest purpose in being a mother, and she gave of herself selflessly to those she loved. Kristina cherished time spent with family and friends, and those who knew her understood that she would do anything for the people she loved. Her bright smile, kind heart, and playful nature—often expressed through song and dance—left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Gallow; her grandparents, Jack and Carol Gallow; and her aunt and uncles, John and Cathy McDonald, Jim Gallow, William Gallow and Arthur Eyzaguirre.
Though taken from us far too soon, Kristina’s memory will be cherished always by her three beloved children, Jaxon, Mila, and Lily; her former spouse, Alex Vancea; her devoted mother, Katrina Gallow; her brother, Jonathan Gallow; her grandparents, William and Billie Eyzaguirre and Margery Gallow; as well as her aunts and uncles, Andre and Lucia Flynn, Henry and Diana Slack, Rick and Janina Arritola, Rachael Eyzaguirre, Christopher Eyzaguirre, Richard and Kate Gallow, Bonnie Gallow and Connie Gallow. She is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A memorial service celebrating Kristina’s life will be held on Friday, April 17th at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, located at 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, Georgia 30040.
Following the service, all are lovingly welcomed to gather in remembrance and celebration of Kristina’s beautiful life at Cherry Street Brewing at Vickery Village, located at 5810 Bond Street, Cumming, Georgia 30040. Guests are encouraged to bring and share cherished stories, memories, and moments that reflect the love, joy, and light she so generously brought into our lives.
