Leland V. Nichols

Leland Vonnie Nichols age 87, passed from this life on August 17, 2026. Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his daughter; Rena Nichols and his son; Terry Nichols, parents; Cletus and Marjorie Buice Nichols, sisters; Beatrice Roper, Addie Freeman, Gail Payne, brothers; Kennith and Ronnie Nichols.

Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife; Brenda Arlene Nichols, son; Vonnie Nichols; granddaughters; Tara, Kayla, Kelsey, and grandson; Leland. Sisters; Ella Ree Jones, Shirley and Harold Jones, Francis and Clayton Sosebee all of Cumming, Rita Sosebee, brothers; Jerry Nichols and J.C. (Barbara) Nichols and brother in laws; Jimmy Freeman and Larry Payne. He was also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

Mr. Nichols was born in Cumming, Ga., July 17, 1939 and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Dawsonville for many years.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Mr. Leland V. Nichols will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 2pm at Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Ray Martin and Rev. Butch Garrett officiating. The burial will take place in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 5-8pm at Ingram Funeral Home and also from 1-2pm on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Lebanon Baptist Church.
