Lillie Stone Christopher

Lillie Stone Christopher, age 87, of Cumming, danced her way to Heaven on July 30, 2016. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Dawsonville and was loved by everyone. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and mother-in-law. Lillie is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Christopher; daughter, Clara Jane Christopher; parents, Henry Stone and Jenny Stone; granddaughter, Brittany Walker; grandson, Kenneth Chambers; brothers, Lee Stone, Tom Stone, Millard Stone, Cecil Stone; sisters, Sarah Lackey, Doris Grier and life long friend, Ella Adams. Lillie is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Grady (Racheal) Christopher of Dawsonville, Jackie (Shelia) Christopher of Canton, John Anthony Christopher of Murphy, NC; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy (Jimmy) Adams of Cumming, Robin (Johnny) Staton of Cumming, Lisa (Eddie) Nelson of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, James (Ruth) Stone of Woodstock; sister and brother-in-law Martha (Donald) Brownlee of Lawrenceville; 18 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Christopher, Rev. Scott Christopher and Rev. Joe Christopher officiating. Interment will follow at Warsaw Cemetery in Alpharetta at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 3 to 9 p.m., Monday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
