Lonnie Inez Heard

Lonnie Inez Heard age 93 passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011. She had been a resident of Forsyth County for the past 38 years. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Bobby S. Thomas and grandson, Brant Chesney. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann (Thomas) and Steve Banks of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Martha Jennings of Athens. A number of grand children, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren also survive. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 11, at 1:00 pm at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bo Thompson and Rev. Caleb Holland officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
