Lorene Stancil

Mrs. Lorene Stancil, age 92 of Alpharetta, passed away Friday, April 30, 2010. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Stancil and daughter, Carolyn Stancil. Survivors include her granddaughter and her husband, Valerie and Stan Strickland of Lawrenceville; special nieces, Mae Henderson and Kaye Hughes; special nephew, Michael Dodd; several other nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Sutton, Rev. Alan Sutton, Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Lee Gaddis officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
