Louis "L.A." Brasher Jr

Louis "L. A." Brasher, Jr., of Forsyth County, GA, age 82, passed away on February 7, 2013. Mr. Brasher graduated from Emma Sansom High School in Gadsden, AL in 1948, from there he went on to attend the University of Alabama where he was in the Alpha Kappa Psi Honor Fraternity and graduated in 1952. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Freemasons. Survivors include his wife, Bettye Brasher of Forsyth County; son, Louis A. Brasher III of Cumming; brother, Phillip L. Brasher of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Lauren Kyle Brasher, Olivia Blake Brasher of Cumming and several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at noon in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
