Lucy Cash Whitworth

Lucy Cash Whitworth, age 95 of Dahlonega, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Lucy had lived in the Northeast Georgia area for 8 years, moving here from Stockbridge, GA. She was a member of Atlanta Presbyterian and a former member of Rock Baptist Church in Rex, GA. She was an artist, a violinist, accomplished gardener, dedicated mother and committed wife. Lucy is preceded in death by her husband; Henry Lewis Whitworth and her son; Henry Lewis Whitworth, Jr. Survivors include her daughter; Elise Whitworth and other loving relatives and friends.. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Lorentz officiating. Interment will follow at the Rock Baptist Church Cemetery in Rex, GA. at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
