Lunell Wallis Robbs went to her heavenly home on Monday January 26th, 2026. She was a leap year baby born on February 29th, 1940, to Fay and Willene Wallis. She grew up in the Cross Roads Community helping in her Dad's store and attending Cross Roads Baptist Church. Lunell graduated from Chestatee Highschool where at 5' 0" she played basketball. This is where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Charles Robbs. Charles and Lunell lived in the Shady Grove Community where she became a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church serving as a Sunday School and Bible School teacher for several years. In 1971 they became the owners of Mr. Swiss restaurant where the customers became part of their family and many family members and friends worked there over the years. In 2005, Charles passed and her son John came to work there carrying on the family restaurant.

Lunell is survived by a sister-in-law, Mildred Davis Wallis, daughter and son-in-law Gina and Steve Higgins, son and daughter in law, John and Amy Robbs. Grandchildren: Dr. Katie Higgins Miller and Sean Miller, Chris Kraft and Jessica Higgins, Sara Higgins, Annie Robbs, Charlie Robbs, great-granddaughter Mathilde Kraft, and several nieces and nephews in which she claimed as her own.

She was preceded in death by her spouse Charles Robbs, father and mother Fay and Willene Wallis, father and mother-in-law J.L. Robbs Jr. and Martha Lee Robbs, brothers and sister-in-law Heyward Wallis. Eugene Wallis, Norris and Gloria Wallis, and sister Mary Wallis. Brothers and sisters-in-law Cecil and Betty Jean Whisnante, Harold and Mary Jo Robbs, Ruell and Mary Jo Bettis.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling to the mountains, and cooking for her extended Mr. Swiss family.

The family will receive friends and family at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday, January 30th, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Donny Nix and Phill Bettis officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend thanks to the hospice nurses that provided care in her last few weeks.
