Luther Dennis Rogers, 77, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. Born on September 14, 1948, in Columbus, Georgia, Dennis lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love for his country and community.
Dennis proudly served in the United States Air Force, answering the call of duty with honor and commitment. His time in service shaped the man he would become—disciplined, dependable, and deeply patriotic. Those who knew him recognized the quiet strength that comes from serving something greater than oneself.
A devoted member of the Freemasons, Dennis embraced the brotherhood’s timeless principles of integrity, charity, and fellowship. His commitment to the craft reflected the values he carried throughout his life: dedication to truth, community, and leaving the world better than he found it.
Dennis is survived by his beloved husband, Robert Smith; his stepson, Kevin Smith and wife Clarissa; his stepdaughter, Aimee Roper and husband Nick; and his five grandchildren: Ava Smith, Allie Smith, Landon Roper, Carley Roper, and Hudson Roper. He loved his family deeply, and his presence will leave an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who loved him.
Dennis leaves behind a legacy of service, brotherhood, and unwavering love for his family. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
