Lynda Witt Day, born February 5, 1944, was a brilliant woman whose wisdom, kindness, and passion touched everyone she encountered. She had a deep love for learning and the natural world, which shone through in all that she did.
A gifted storyteller, Lynda had a deep passion for writing historical fiction and illustrating her own work. She was a remarkable artist who expressed her appreciation for the world through her artwork which reflected her lifelong love for animals, architecture, and nature.
She was also an accomplished equestrian and dedicated mentor, serving as the District Commissioner for her local area Pony Club. Her joy came from helping riders grow in confidence and skill alongside their horses.
Never one to shy away from a challenge, Lynda began training for and completed in a triathlon in her mid-forties, a testament to her determination, adventurous spirit, and zest for life.
Lynda graduated from Berry College with a double major, an institution that always held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by those who loved and cared for her deeply, all of whom will cherish her memory and the many ways she enriched their lives.
Her compassion, intelligence, creativity, and spirit will be remembered always.
