Lyndon Earl Stonecypher, 85, of Marble Hill passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021. Lyndon was the oldest of his siblings and always has a sense of responsibility for them. This trait extended down through his family to his children and grandchildren. He was laid back and unassuming with a great sense of humor. Lyndon was proud of his country and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his wife, Velma L. Stonecypher and a son, Leland M. Stonecypher.

Survivors include his children. Patricia L. (Arnold) Dockery, Lori A. (Travis) McDaniel, Windy L. Shumate; grandchildren, Shannon, James, Daniel, Megan, Jason, David, Eli; great grandchildren, Ethan, Ava, Rylee, Jayden, Catie, Becca, Mac, Molly; sister, Myrna Farris; brother, Fred (Betty Jo) Stonecypher; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, January 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a private graveside service.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
