Maggie M. Bennett, a lifelong resident of Hall and Forsyth Counties, passed away on March 23, 2026.  She was born to John Wehunt and Birdie Roper Wehunt on July 11th, 1933. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 siblings, son Bobby Dwight Bennett, daughter, Susan Jeanette Godfrey.

She is survived by her son and her daughter-in-law, Duane and Lynne Bennett; all of her beloved caretakers at The Oaks of Hampton.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 26th, 2026, at 12:00 PM, at Sawnee View Gardens.
