Mamie M. Bearden

Mamie M. Bearden, age 85 of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Mamie was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Taylorsville, GA. Mamie enjoyed reading, doing her word searches and loved everyone. She had a green thumb and could plant a twig and turn it into a beautiful plant. Mamie is preceded in death by her husband, James Willie Bearden; her parents, James and Lily Croy Bruce; other siblings; and beloved dog, Ginger.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Linda Bearden; her granddaughters and grandson-in-law, Lauren Bearden and Leslie and Josh Hixson; her great grandson, Beau Hixson, all of Cumming; and other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 7th at 4:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy Williams and Rev. Jamie Sanford officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday, September 6th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, c/o Michael Sanford, 3810 Watson Road, Cumming, Georgia 30028.
