Marcus (Marc) Eugene Gunter

Marcus (Marc) Eugene Gunter, 75, of Forsyth County passed Sunday, June 27, 2021. Marc was very active in the Atlanta Post-Polio Association, serving for 6 years as a member of their Board of Directors. He was a devoted supporter of the Roosevelt Warm Springs Foundation having been a patient there. Marc and his wife, Sharon, organized and ran several non-profit organizations in Forsyth County; most importantly, the Marcus E. and Sharon B. Gunter Foundation formed to feed the hungry in Forsyth County.

Survivors include his wife of almost 30 years, Sharon Beaty Gunter; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jovee Beaty; granddaughter, Alanna Jordan Beaty; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life honoring Marc will be held Tuesday, June 29, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Martin officiating. Inurnment will be later at Coal Mountain Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday the hour prior to the service.
