Margaret Irene Hinds

Margaret Irene Anthony Hinds, age 90, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025. Irene, known as “Snookie” to her family and friends, was born on February 24,1935 in Ellijay, Georgia. Irene is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lester Hinds and son Carl Scott Burdette.

Irene spread joy and love to all throughout her life. She had a gift of finding something good in everyone, making her family, friends, and those she had never met feel special and loved. Her warm hugs, sweet smile, precious laugh and endless encouragements will be missed by all.

Irene is survived by her her sons, James David Burdette, Sr (Nancy) and Robert Wayne Burdette (Terrie); her grandchildren, Jennifer Jennings (Bryan), Paige Burdette, David Burdette, Jr, Scott Burdette, Jackson Burdette; her great-grandchildren Chad, Katelyn, Landyn, Mabry, Khloey
