Margaret Hatcher House

Margaret Hatcher House, 90, of Forsyth County passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Margaret was a natural born salesperson having sold both encyclopedias and insurance. She was also a writer being published at the age of 83 when she wrote “Measures of Mercy”. Margaret was a great marksman, learning to shoot on her honeymoon. She was an amazing cook and loved to fish. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Emory Daniel House, Jr. and her son, Danny House.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Greg Farr, Amy and Richard Webb; a son, David House; grandchildren, Joel and Amy Cole Webb, Simon Farr, John Paul Webb, Savannah and Dakota VanBrocklin, Dawson House and a great granddaughter, Winifred Margaret Webb.ouse

Immediate family will gather for a graveside funeral service on Wednesday, September 17, at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
