Margaret "Peggy" Pfiel

Margaret “Peggy” Pfiel born on June 20, 1939, passed away peacefully on December 13, surrounded by those she loved.

She was cherished by everyone she met. A natural caretaker with a heart as big as her laugh, she had a rare gift for making people feel seen, heard, and at home. Whether it was through her words, her presence, or her cooking, she always found a way to bring comfort and joy.

In the kitchen, she was nothing short of magic. Even with just three ingredients left in the pantry or fridge, she could somehow turn them into gold—a talent that became legendary among family and friends and a symbol of her creativity and love.

She had the best sense of humor—quick, sharp, and unapologetically funny. Her daughter and granddaughters shared more than just stories with her; they shared secrets, laughter, and plenty of moments of gossip; something she welcomed with a knowing smile and a perfectly timed comment.

She is a God-loving and God-fearing woman. She spent her mornings watching Les Feldick and reading her Bible. She was always ready to talk about Jesus and tell us the things He has taught her. Towards her end of life, she was ready to be with Jesus. We have comfort and peace knowing she has met our Savior. Her life reminds us that this world is not our home. Our destination is with our Creator. We have confidence knowing we will be reunited with her again.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Nora and Martin Naughton, siblings, and her husband, Albert Pfiel.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Maryellen Hale; her son in law, Arthur Hale; grandchildren: Katelyn Anderson (Chandler), Lauren Watkins (Samuel), Charlie Hale, and Julia Hale; great grandchildren: John Anderson, Rylee Anderson, Jace Watkins, and Wren Anderson.

Her legacy lives on in our hearts, full of shared recipes, inside jokes, and the warmth. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Colossians 3:1-4: "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things... When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory".

Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements.
