MARGARET ANN SHARRY

Margaret Ann Sharry, 88, of Hoschton, Georgia passed away September 10, 2026 surrounded by her adoring family. Margaret “Marge” (matriarch of the Sharry family) was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late George and Irene Uhl, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Marge was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, William C. Sharry. They moved from Huntington, New York to Alpharetta, Georgia in 1996 and they enjoyed an early retirement together. Marge celebrated her golden years, alongside Bill, enjoying her hobbies of sewing, craft and quilting classes. As Parishioners of St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, Marge and Bill volunteered many hours in the Church’s rectory. It was often that Marge and Bill enjoyed dining out at some of their local favorite spots such as O’Charleys, Casa Nuova and Outback, where the wait staff eagerly awaited seeing their happy familial faces and catching up with the goings on of the Sharry family and grandkids. On Saturdays during football season, the only thing on the agenda was SEC -- The Georgia Bulldogs now have two very special angels in heaven cheering them on. Go Dawgs!

Marge is survived by her son, William T. Sharry, and his wife, Therese Sharry, daughter, Bonita I. Sharry, and her life partner, Richard Mark Pittard. She is blessed with amazing grandchildren, Kyle William Sharry (Maddie), Erin Marie Sharry, Alexander Decker Sharry, Ryan Anne Wall (Gary), John William Frucci and Dean Michael Frucci. God graced Marge and Bill with three little great-grandchild blessings: Kiera Sharry (Kyle and Maddie), Theo Wall and Penny Wall (Ryan and Gary).

A funeral mass will be officiated by Fr. Ignacio Morales at 11:00 am on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6439 Spout Springs Road, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. A Celebration of Life will be held following the mass. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Prince of Peace in the name of Margaret Ann Sharry. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed at https://www.popfb.org/livestream.

Margaret Ann Sharry’s cremated remains will be laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery alongside of her loving devoted husband, William C. Sharry.
