Marguerite Marie Caskey

Marguerite Marie Caskey, 87, of Cumming, GA, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2022.

Marguerite is survived by siblings: Rachel Miller (Franc); Charlene Ralston (Michael); Roland Beaudoin (Rachel); Raymond Beaudoin (Joann) and her children: Norma Caskey; Tina Vliet (Corey); Jon Caskey (Cherlyn) and Karen Ketchum (Chris). Marguerite is “Mimi” to her grandchildren; Mason and Mitchell Caskey and Matt, Cole, Sam and Rachel Ketchum

Marguerite was born in a small town in the Province of Quebec, Canada. She came to Maine as a young girl, lived in Florida for several years as a young woman, and finally moved to Georgia which has been home since 1970. She was proud to earn her US Citizenship later in life. Marguerite has been a rock for her family, caring for children and grandchildren with an unwavering and exceeding love.

Marguerite enjoyed music, dancing, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Well into her 80s, she was actively engaged in working puzzles, playing cards, and participating in family night games.  She had a big heart for helping others and volunteered at church and in her community. She will be remembered for her smile, strength, and generosity by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, beginning at 2:00 pm followed by A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service at 3:30 pm in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040. 770-887-2388
