Marion Lee Worley

Marion Lee Worley, AKA “Pop”, 85 of Cumming, Georgia passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Marion was born in Gainesville, Georgia on June 5, 1938 to William and Rosa Lee Worley. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Cumming.

Marion married Barbara Worley and together they had 3 children. Marion and Barbara were married for 59 years until her passing in October, 2018. Marion served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Sears & Roebuck. He also served as a Mason and enjoyed collecting old cars and traveling. Marion is survived by his children, Kevin L. Worley, his daughters, Connie Vaughan and Amy D. Worley (Jon); his beloved nephew, Barry Kimmons (Janna) and several other nieces and nephews; his grandchildren, Nathan Vaughan (Katie), Kyle Vaughan (Lauren), Dalton Munday (Nancy), Cooper Howard (Heather), Jud Howard (Lexy) and Devin Worley; his great grandchildren, Andy Williamson, Blakely Vaughan, Brooke Vaughan, Wyatt Munday and Vivian Faye Vaughan; and his sister, Pat Martin (Harrison).

A graveside service will be held at Sawnee View Gardens, 1390 Dahlonega Highway; Cumming, GA 30040 on Monday, October 9, at 2:00 p.m.
