Martha Ann Kicklighter Holcomb, age 89, of Dawsonville, Georgia died October 7, 2015 after a long illness. Her love for the Lord was evident to all. She was a woman of great faith and a member of Freedom Tabernacle in Cumming Georgia. Martha is preceded in death by her beloved husband Millard and son David. Martha and Millard were in the food business in Lawrenceville, GA for over 30 years at Edge's Cafeteria. They were loved and known by many as Nana and Papaw. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Survivors include children Johnny Holcomb, MaryAnn Holcomb Payne (Hugh), Howard and Christine Holcomb, Jack and Sheri Holcomb; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brothers Lyndon and sister-in-law June Kicklighter, Derrell and sister-in-law Virginia Kicklighter; Identical twin sister, Mary Kicklighter Wray; sister Reba Kicklighter Waters; sister and brother-in-lawFrankie and George Hosea. Numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Tabernacle with Pastor Robbie Mathis officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Cemetery Duluth Georgia at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The body will lie in state at the church Friday morning from 10:30 until the hour of service.
