Martha Mary Dilbeck

Martha "Marty" Dilbeck, 71, of Burlington, VT, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2017 surrounded by family.

A private funeral service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery.

Martha was born on January 8, 1946, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Maurice J. Walsh. A graduate of Rice Memorial High School and Fanny Allen School of Nursing, she worked in the nursing profession for over 35 years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She always had a kind word, a beautiful smile, a twinkle in her eyes and a contagious laugh.

Martha is survived by her sister, Mary Jane (Daniel) Sullivan of Burlington, VT; husband Ralph Dilbeck of Canton, GA; daughters Jennifer (Tom) Yearwood of Dacula, GA; Amy (Michael) White of Dahlonega, GA, and Lisa (Jason) Rodriguez of Marietta, GA, as well as three grandchildren who were the light of her life; Hunter Yearwood, Rhiauna and Kaleigh Rodriguez.
