Mary Lee Ammons

Mary Lee Cox Ammons, age 92, of Milton, Ga., passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Cleo Cox; husband, Gene Ammons; infant son, Ricky Ammons. She attended Hopewell Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts which included quilting and crocheting.

She is survived by her children, Eugenia (David) Foster, Patricia (Ben) Bobo, David (Hilda) Ammons, Steven Ammons; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Charles (Jerri) Cox and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 12 noon until time of service.
