Mary Patten

Mary Patten, of Cumming, GA, age 80, passed away on December 9, 2012. Mary loved gardening and cooking and was well known for her delicious tea cakes. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Patten; brothers, Julian, Johnny and Coleman Reese. Survivors include her, sons and daughters-in-law, Malcolm and Margaret Patten , Vince and Donna Patten of Cumming; sisters, Martha Jones of Buchanan, Ann McClain of Watkinsville; sister-in-law, Elsie Reese; grandchildren, Clara, Sarah and Reese; great grandchildren, Brian, Brody, Lindsey and Julian and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bottoms, Rev. Cecil Townley, and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from noon until the time of service.
