Mary Sue Leonhardt

Mary Sue Leonhardt, age 83 of Suwanee, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cumming. Sue was a loving wife of 62 years. She treasured being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great great-grandmother. Sue enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing the piano, and singing. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Frank and Maggie Mae McAllister; grandson, William "Bill" Cash III; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; 3 brothers-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law. Survivors include her loving husband, Lou Leonhardt of Suwanee; children, Lou Ann (Rickie) Brownlee of Cumming, Cathy (Robert) Haggard of Athens; grandchildren, Nikki (Mark) Roark, Christy (Jay) Nemec, Blake Petzelt, Maggie Petzelt; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law; 3 "adopted" daughters, Fiona, Sunshine, Rhonda; several neices, nephews, and other loving family. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 2nd at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russ Barker officiating. Interment will be on Tuesday, May 3rd, at 12:30 PM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA, . The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
