Matthew John Lowrey

Matthew John Lowrey, 50, of Cumming, Ga. unexpectedly passed away on December 18, 2023.  

Matthew had a passion for fish/terrascaping and playing DnD.  As much as he loved his hobbies, it did not come close to the love he had for God and his family.  He attended Christ Community Church and loved worshiping God alongside his church family. As much as he will be missed on earth, his family and loved ones have peace knowing that he is rejoicing in heaven.

Matthew's family meant more to him than anything else in the world.  He took immense pride in being a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle.  He was a source of strength for his family/friends and always provided support and encouragement to others no matter what challenges they faced.

Matthew was predeceased by his father, Bradley Lowrey.  He is survived by wife Andrea, daughter Katie, mother Kathy Fey, sister Erinn Keserica, and nieces-Sofia and Josie Keserica.  

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his memory to Christ Community Church.  

The celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 6 at 1pm at Christ Community Church.  The family will receive friends at Christ Community Church from 11:00 until the start of the service.  Christ Community Church is located at 5455 Campground Rd, Cumming, Ga.
