Melanie Bertrand Farmer

Melanie Bertrand Farmer, 37, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. A native and lifelong resident of Forsyth County, she is preceded in death by her father, Joey Bertrand; her grandmother, Corrine Bertrand; and her great grandmother, Ellen Land.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Farmer; children, Bradyn Farmer, Adalyn Farmer; mother, Shelly Bertrand, all of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Jaime Tavenier of Ball Ground; paternal grandfather, Joe Bertrand of Cumming; maternal grandmother, Nancy Ingram of Cumming; father-in-law and mother-in-law Greg and Sharon Bates of Gainesville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lee and Heather Bates of Gainesville; special nieces, Lindsey and Hayley Tavenier, Trinity and Ashlyn Bates; and a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Townley officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
