Melba Massey-Wells

Melba Massey-Wells, age 68, of Ellijay passed away Friday, December 30, 2016. Melba was a very strong woman who loved her family more than anything else; the glue that held her family together. She enjoyed gardening and her pets. Melba is preceded in death by her husbands, Calvin Massey and Danny Wells; her brothers, M.C. Adkins, Royce Adkins, Billy Adkins and Durrell Adkins; and her sisters, Inez Mills, and Jean Richardson. Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Picklesimer of Gainesville; son, William Massey of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Haylee Picklesimer, Anthony Picklesimer, Wesley Daniel, Cheyenne Massey, and Dakota Massey; 5 great grandchildren; her dog, Benji; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 5, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
