Merrie Adams Jackson

Merrie Adams Jackson, 52, of Cumming passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 with dignity, grace and courage following a long battle with cancer. Merrie was a strong, brave wife, loving mother and devoted sister who was known for her independence and fighting spirit. She is preceded in death by her mother, Odette Adams and her father-in-law, David Jackson.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Shawn Jackson; children, Kahner Jackson and his girlfriend, Delaney Findling, Riley Jackson and Parker Jackson; father, Fred Adams, Sr.; siblings, Fred Adams, Jr., Paige (Stan) Bettis, James Adams; mother-in-law, Brenda Jackson; sisters-in-law, Paige (Santiago) Vega, Jill Jackson and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Memorial services will be held Monday, February 17, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
