Michael John Carew

Michael John Carew, age 95, of Cumming, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015. Fr. Michael was a retired Roman Catholic priest and former employee of United Parcel Service. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ellen Carew and his brother James Carew. Fr. Michael was a member of the Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd in Cumming, and had his ministry as a priest with the Society of the Divine Word. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Dunn Carew, their three children, Michael John Carew, Jr., Michelle Patrice Carew-Bessette, and Kelly Brienne Carew - Lindquist, and grandchildren Michael James, Alana Marie, and Joseph Ryan Carew, Micaela Teresa, and Cora Nicole Bessette, and Ethan Theodore and Audrey Claire Lindquist. The Memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015, 12:00 noon at the Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd in Cumming, GA. Fr. Frank Richardson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Cumming, GA. Arrangements are handled by Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, Cumming, GA.
