Miller Eugene Foster, age 85, of Milton, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, after a period of declining health. He was born on December 6,1940, to Thomas and Edith Millwood Foster. Miller served as a deacon and later as Chairman of the Deacon Board at Ophir Baptist Church for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Dyer Foster; his parents, infant brother, Dwayne Foster; sister; Faynette Berryman; nephews, Ken Foster & Eddie Croy; sister-in-law, Nancy Foster; and brother-in-law, Ed Croy.

He is survived by his son, Barry (Michelle) Foster; daughter, Kim Foster; granddaughters, Jordan (Josh) Newberry and Callie Foster; 5 great-grandchildren, Kennedi, Noah, Piper, Owen and Knox Newberry; brother, Carter Foster; sisters-in-law, Jan (David) Robinson and Joyce Croy; brother-in-law, Marcus (Reba) Dyer; many nieces and nephews, along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, April 6, 2026, at Ophir Baptist Church in Ball Ground, GA with Rev. Nicky Gravitt, Rev. Jerry Frazier, and Rev. Josh Newberry officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
