Minta Samples Martin Chadwick

Minta Samples Martin Chadwick, 93, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018.Mintas roles have been many through her life as a daughter, sister, friend, mother, grandmother, caregiver, cook and wife. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Iverson Martin; second husband, J.O Chadwick; a son, Tony Martin; brothers, Edwin and Royce; sisters, Margaret, Essie, and Athleen.

Survivors include her sons, James M. (Mike) Martin, Andy Lee Martin; daughter, Pam Martin; daughter-in-law, Becky Martin,all of Cumming; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
