Morris E. Thompson

Morris E. Thompson, of Cumming, GA, age 76, passed away on December 4, 2012. Morris was an outdoorsman that loved the Atlanta Braves and Nascar. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley English Thompson; daughters, Donna Thompson and Janet Thompson; parents, Lemuel and Ruby Thompson; sister, Barbara Lee and brother, Ralph Thompson. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Renita Thompson of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jimmy Satterfield of Cherokee county; grandchild, Cody Thompson; sister-in-law, Betty Jean Thompson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jack Biddy and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Pete Martin and Rev. Tim Biddy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
