Obituary

Nathaniel Hansard, 87, of Cumming passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026. Nathaniel was a wonderful husband and a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather of whom he was very proud. He was a member of Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church.

Nathaniel is preceded in death by his parents, James D. and Vernie Hansard; brothers, Dwight Hansard and James Hansard; sister, Diane Morris; brothers-in-law, Sammy Morris and Wayne Willoughby; and several other brothers and sisters-in-law.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Vivian Hansard; son, Nathan Todd Hansard; grandson, Trevor Nathaniel Hansard; great grandchildren, Joss, Nelly, Heidi and Dahlia; sister, Joan Willoughby; sisters-in-law, Martha Burruss and Pat Hansard; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Randall Cagle, Elder Glen Ray and Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
